Jetworks FAQs
How does private jet travel differ from traveling on commercial airlines?
A private jet provides you with numerous advantages vs. commercial airlines:
- Fly on your schedule.
- Fly closer to your destination by reaching 5500 private jet airports versus 550 airports for commercial flights.
- Drive to your aircraft and depart with no security lines or delays.
- Know all the passengers on your aircraft, allowing your travels to be private, secure and productive.
- Visit multiple cities within a day, maximizing time and efficiency.
How does the cost of private air travel compare to first-class commercial airlines?
Private flight is typically more expensive; however it can make good fiscal sense when analyzing the costs against commercial travel for both business and leisure purposes.
Consider:
- The wasted time and stresses of long lines and inconsistent service (delays, cancellations, etc.) provided by commercial airlines.
- Time saved by traveling closer to your ultimate destination, often eliminating the need for connecting flights and/or overnight stays.
- Trim hours (and even days) off your travel time by increasing the number of cities you're able to visit in a given timeframe.
- Enjoy productive time with your colleagues and feel secure in the confidentiality of your materials and discussions.
- Much more convenient way for families to travel, especially with smaller children.
If I am not a Jetworks member can I request pricing for trips that I am interested in flying?
Yes, We welcome new membership inquiry and are pleased to proforma flight requests as to estimated costs; however member pricing is ALWAYS better and especially when we have a specific trip with associated dates and number of passengers to price. Our "Aircraft" link provides descriptions of aircraft types and capabilities with average cost per flight hour estimates. On trips of one to three days, Jetworks members often find that their pricing is 40-50% less than other membership providers and always less than conventional charter.
Are Jetworks 's ConciAirges™ available 24 hours and 7 days a week?
Yes, and 365 days a year. You will always reach a Jetworks ConciAirge™ who can assist you with a flight request.
Which aircraft type should I choose?
When you call or e-mail us for a flight request, we will recommend the best type of aircraft that suits your trip requirements.
Does Jetworks fly internationally?
Yes. We can offer the appropriate long-range aircraft for any international itinerary. Additionally, many of our members fly commercially to Europe and a Jetworks ™ meets their flights and escorts them to their private aircraft for travel to other destinations.
How far in advance do I have to call to reserve an aircraft from Jetworks?
We can generally respond on very short notice; however we are subject to aircraft availability and crew duty times. For peak travel times, such as holidays, the earlier the better.
Will there be other passengers on my flight?
The only passengers on your flight will be the ones designated by you.
What is the Z Card program?

Z Card membership requires only a $1,000 annual membership fee to obtain access to all of these benefits. Z Card members have the flexibility to select the aircraft type that is best suited to fit their needs. The Z Card offers exceptional 24-hour ConciAirge™ service, flexible aircraft types, no hidden fees, superior safety standards, and the industry's most sensible rates.
How much do flight services cost?
Jetworks offers the most competitive rates in the industry which are often 20-60% less than our competitors. We are the only private jet membership company in the world that does not incorporate empty leg expenses into trip costs unless they actually exist.
How does Jetworks ensure the safety of its passengers?
The Jetworks fleet of preferred aircraft is ALL subjected to an objective and fact-based safety analysis, which includes historical safety ratings of current aircraft, pilot background checks, and on-site safety audits from the industry leaders in flight safety. We ONLY fly on ARG/US certified aircraft (Platinum or Gold level). ARG/US is an independent certification firm that addresses every issue relative to quality and safety from pilot certification and training, to aircraft and facility maintenance. This discipline assures our membership a safety standard that far exceeds what the FAA requires and safety is the cornerstone of our business discipline. Our safety system is one of the most comprehensive and detailed safety analysis programs in the private aviation industry.
What aircrafts can passengers choose from?
Jetworks provides access to an extensive network of aircraft, including turbo-props, light, mid-size and large cabin jets. Airliners for large group travel are also available. Turbo-props are ideal for short trips and comfortably accommodate 6 passengers. The $1,000 annual membership fee, the lowest access fee in the industry, provides each of these groups tremendous flexibility in meeting their private aviation needs.
Do I have to be a member to use Jetworks?

We simply bill your credit card on file as your flight date approaches. Corporate accounts are welcomed.
How many airports can private planes fly to?

How does fractional ownership of a jet compare with using Jetworks?
Fractional ownership of an aircraft requires a large upfront payment which can range from hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. There are also monthly management fees whether you actually use the plane or not and you are billed for the hours that you fly. Jetworks requires only an annual membership fee of $1,000 which begins on the date of your first flight and you pay only for the time you actually fly. You have no acquisition costs, no maintenance costs, no monthly management fees, no long-term contractual commitments and no exit fees.

No. A few light jets do not have enclosed lavatories but all mid size and large cabin jets have fully enclosed lavatories.

Large cabin jets will generally have a flight attendant.
What about on board catering?
Standard catering is typically provided and includes fruit plates, snacks, and soft drinks. Beyond standard catering, just about anything you can think of can be accommodated.

Absolutely. Pets are allowed and in most cases can roam free in the cabin. We fly them all the time.
Can I smoke on board?
Not typically.
Can I use my computer on board?
Certainly, provided you check with the pilots as they will give you guidance on when it is safe to use electronic devices during the flight.
What if I want to bring my own music?
Please do so. Just check with the pilots for instructions on when it is safe to operate the electronic device during the flight.
How will I know where to go when I arrive at the departure airport?
Jetworks will supply you with directions and information well in advance of the departure date.
Will I be able to park my car at the departure airport?
Generally, yes. Your Jetworks ConciAirge™ will have that information available when confirming the flight.
What about ground transportation?
Jetworks works with national and local ground transportation and limousine services to provide ground transportation. Let us know in advance, and we will take care of scheduling this service.
What's the procedure for being picked up at my destination?
You provide to the party picking you up the name of the FBO (fixed base operator) and the aircraft tail number.
What happens if our flight is diverted for any reason? Who pays for accommodations, additional transportation, etc.?
It is very rare, but occasionally flights do get diverted to alternate destinations, generally for safety issues relating to weather. Additional costs depend on the circumstances.
What happens if the flight is delayed or canceled due to weather problems?
Safety is our primary concern. Therefore, the pilots will determine if a flight is to be diverted, delayed, or canceled due to weather. If the plane is diverted to an alternate airport due to weather, the pilot will determine if it is possible to wait for the weather to clear and resume the flight. It's possible the weather may not clear. In which case, the flight will terminate at the alternate airport. If the flight terminates at the alternate airport, Jetworks will work with you to arrange for alternative transportation to the destination airport.
What happens if the flight is grounded due to mechanical problems?
Again, safety is our primary concern. If a flight is grounded due to mechanical problems, one of two things will happen. If it is determined that the plane can be properly repaired within a reasonable time frame, such as 12-24 hours, the flight will be delayed until the repairs are made. If it is determined that the repairs will require more than 24 hours, a similar aircraft will be substituted to complete the flight.
What is an Empty Leg?
An "empty leg", often referred to as "dead heads" is when an airplane is flying empty on its way to pick up passengers or after dropping off passengers.
What happens if I need to cancel?
You can typically cancel up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure time without incurring any costs.
How many pilots will be flying the plane?
FAA regulations require two pilots certified in the aircraft selected for your flight.
Does Jetworks always recommend the lowest / cheapest price?
No. Our promise to you is that we will select the right aircraft for your mission and one that meets our stringent requirements for safety and quality. We select the best pricing on the equipment that meets these standards.
Will I be able to view an image of the actual aircraft I'll be flying in?
Yes. During the trip pricing process we can provide representative photos of particular types of aircraft and in many cases photos of the actual aircrafts we are pricing. Once a flight is confirmed and a specific aircraft selected, you will be able to see actual images of that aircraft.
What is an FBO?
FBO stands for Fixed Base Operator. FBOs provide fuel and services for private aircraft which usually include passenger and pilot lounges, overall ground support and other amenities.
Will Jetworks entirely replace my need to use commercial air service?
Not likely. Our goal is to provide you with attractive private air travel options at pricing that make sense.
